Reveal date change

Hi there , just wanted to let you all know that the reveal for the 8th annual Bead Soup Blog Party has been postponed until May 10/2014 ... only a week ahead of its original date and thankfully because I`m still working on mine . Not thankful that Lori the wonderful organizer of this grand event has taken ill , we all wish you health and healing during this time . In the next few days I will post a link to view all the wonderful creations from all over the world ... and mine too ;)

Bead soup blog party update !

Well here`s a bit of an update on the bead soup ... I have been paired with a lovely lady from Canada and am just thrilled . I have mailed off my "Soup" and have received my "Soup" from her , well let me tell you I am so excited to get started on this project because the beads that she has sent !!! They are so beautiful and unique , I am honoured to work with them .I`m pretty sure of what I will create but certainly am not going to spoil the surprise with any hints ;) ... maybe in my next Blog Post . Stay tuned beaders and bloggers .

Etsy Announcement

I`m moving on up ( kinda reminds me of the TV show The Jeffersons ) but anyways with a-lot of button pushing , picture taking , measuring and of course crafting I`ve finally opened up an Etsy shop and am quite thrilled about it .

It`s no great feat like mountain climbing or white water rafting a stage 5 or anything but none the less an accomplishment .

The blisters that appeared on my hands from hammering the Copper for earrings are a reminder of how truly enjoyable creating and working with metal is .

Fall is here and so are the warm reds , oranges , yellows and browns also the deep blues and purples too ... Just love fall for the fabric , the fashion and the boots ... LOVE the boots too ;)

Today

Today was a great " get stuff done " day ... pouring hard all day I might have even seen a few small animals fall from the sky . A bit of cleaning ;) and some crafting filled my day ok and work too .  Looking forward to see what sprouts up from all of this moisture . The cloudy  skies go on forever while feeding the fields which feed the animals which feed the people . The farmers markets are in full swing with hard earned produce and wares ... the animals are birthing their young , what a wonderful time of year spring is .

Hello , this is my first attempt at a blog so bare with me and hopefully I`ll get the hang of it with little or no pain involved ;) Going to do my best to be something that people want to read and check out .

I truly enjoy creating unique and custom jewelry for people using many natural materials . I like using semi and precious stones , crystal ,glass , metal , shells , wood , bone , feathers , leather and hemp ... pretty much anything I can get my hands on .
